Pickleball Engagement — Courtney & Kuba
A Pickleball Love Story Engagement Photoshoot in Topeka, Kansas
Courtney requested to take engagement photos at the pickleball courts where they frequently played all throughout their dating and engagement. You better believe it was an eager “YES” from me! I adore when there is a unique vision for a session. Particularly when that vision includes something that is uniquely special to their story.
If you’re planning or dreaming of your engagement photos, a great question to ask yourself is how you can tell a story with your photos.
I mean that’s what engagement photos are all about, right? Telling the story of your relationship and documenting this season of your lives; before marriage but while you are eagerly anticipating it!
And if you can’t think of something that represents your love in this season, that’s cool. Honestly most people might struggle to think of something. Here’s what I’d do: Think of an activity that sounds fun to do together and turn your photoshoot into a mini date.
Some examples to get your imagination going would be;
arranging a cute picnic at a favorite spotriding your bikes around downtowngoing to the state fairvisiting the hot air balloon festival (and maybe even riding one)grabbing ice cream cones and taking them to the parktennis and smoothieskayaking on in a creekgoing to your local coffee shop or bakery and getting drinkspracticing your dances with the city skyline in viewgrab disposable cameras and take pictures with each othergo for a hike at your favorite spot (and then jump in a lake)
Courtney and Kuba chose to take some photos at the pickleball courts that they frequently play at. Here’s what that looked like…
